Development on WP/phpBB Bridge Halted Indefinately

Author: I know, I haven’t been posting on the site lately, or posted any updates to the WP/phpBB Bridge. This doesn’t appear to be a situation that is going to change any time soon. My wife has been in and out of the hospital since early July of last year, and has had a couple surgeries. Between her health issues and my full-time job, I simply don’t have the time I had when I first started this project.
The old plugin will still be available for download, but I won’t be around to support it, unfortunately.

I would really like to see this updated to the current version of wordpress and phpbb3.
I have searched everywhere for this plugin and finally found a place and find out its not supported anymore

Is there anyway you can update this on a time to time basis, when you have time?
